All of the items you see below have been made using kimono fabrics, some (where marked) are made of stock that I have in at the moment. I hope that these photos inspire you to try sewing with kimono fabrics - they're so much fun to work with. For dressmaking, think in panels, like the blouse below. For a scarf, just turn a hem at either end and it's ready to wear. The same goes for table runners. Kimono fabrics are ideal for cushions, either as background fabric (two panels side by side for larger cushions) or as accent bands on wider fabrics. They're also a good width for table napkins and of course there are any number of bag designs that kimono fabrics can be used for. In fact, the uses for kimono fabrics are only limited by your imagination...!
