Silk Obi Sample 001

I was very fortunate to acquire a book of silk obi samples which would have been presented to a customer in order for them to choose a suitable obi for their kimono.  They are all silk and are the perfect size for framing, cushions or even a stunning evening bag.  Obi are the decorative sash worn over a kimono and are always examples of the finest weaving skill.   Please click on the photos to see the detail of this lovely piece.
