Kimono silk 023

This is a slightly translucent plain-weave silk with an indigo background and a print design of bamboo leaves.  Some of the leaves are pale blue and some are white.   There are scarlet lines here and there where the centre vein of the leaf has been outlined.   It's slightly too crisp for a scarf but would work wonderfully well as a blind for a small window, a table-runner with a backing fabric, or a wall-hanging.
