I had only a small remnant of this lovely 1930's silk, so I used it to embellish this plain linen bag. There is 'shibori' (tie-dye) work on the silk as well as a print design in soft colours against a deep sage-green background. The bag is lined with cotton and has an inside pocket.
Size: 13 x 12.5 inches (33 x 32cms)
The top of the handles are approximately 19" from the top of the bag, so plenty of room to hang the bag over your arm, or even across your body.
