This is a smooth black silk haori with a very pretty, delicate design of trees, embroidered in black silk threads with touches of light blue. The haori is lined with pale green synthetic damask fabric. The white marks that you see in one of the photos are a trick of the light, and don't appear on the haori. It's perfectly black throughout, is in excellent condition and comes complete with two woven 'himo' ties to close it. The embroidery is machine worked, but to a very high standard (see close-ups). Ideal for an evening jacket with linen trousers.
