Handpainted silk kimono 2011

This cream silk haori has a very luxurious feel with it's 'wrinkled' texture and handpainted flowers in autumnal shades, giving it a kind of modernist block-print look.  It's lined with a pretty silk damask and comes complete with two nicely woven 'himo' ties to close it.  This haori is in excellent condition and would go easily from office-wear to evening, teamed with a pair of linen trousers or a little black dress.
