All of these bags are made from the exquisite Genshodo fabrics that I have on the site. The fabrics are screen-printed by hand in a small studio in Kyoto, with historic patterns dating from the Edo period of Japan (16th to mid-19th century). The bags are made in the same workshops in Japan that produce the fabrics and they are made to the same exacting standards. They make lovely gifts for those who appreciate first-rate quality and beautiful cloth.
