Velvety soft with a liquid drape, this black silk haori has a woven in pattern of what I think are small toys, woven in shimmering threads. It's lined with a very pretty print silk showing pine trees and chrysanthemum. The haori has a little 'mon' (family crest) at the nape of the neck and comes complete with woven 'himo' ties to close it. The silk lining has frayed just a little bit along the bottom edge and someone has repaired it with the tiniest little stitches. For me this just adds to this classic haori's charm however I have lowered the price accordingly. This haori has subtle glamour and will be a delight to wear.
