Japanese Print Cards

I'm happy to say that I now have a selection of Japanese print notecards in stock, like the one below.

I've also got some lovely box-sets of cards with prints by Hiroshige (below) that make lovely gifts.

Please click on the images for more details.

North American Customers

I am delighted to sell to customers all over the world but please note that all prices are in British pounds sterling. Please note that is the only method of payment that I accept from North American buyers. It is quick to register, secure and completely free to use. It makes buying online very easy.

Please use the Currency Converter to get an idea of prices in your own currency but PayPal will do the conversion for you when you come to pay. All fabric prices shown are for one metre (roughly 39") of fabric unless otherwise stated.

Irish and European Customers

I can accept a cheque in Sterling or a Bank Draft in Sterling from Irish and European customers as well as payments through PayPal.

New Website Coming....!

I apologise for the delay in the launch of the new clothaholics website but as with all things technical, there are a few glitches to iron out.... I will e-mail all of my previous customers to let them know when the new site launches. If you would like to join our mailing list and get advance notice of sales on the site, please contact me with 'mailing list' in the subject line. In the meantime, watch this space.....!

All Japanese kimono are hand-sewn, even to this day, and so beautifully worked that you will have to search to see any stitches. Our kimono range in date from the 1940's to last year. Please click on the image below to see the current collection .

Japanese kimono fabrics average about 15"(30cm) wide and have been used for centuries to make kimono. Please click on the image below to see the current selection of Japanese kimono fabrics in silk, cotton and fine wool.

Have a look in Textile Treasures for some new Japanese vintage and antique textiles, including silk obi (kimono sashes), antique fabric remnants and Japanese 'noren' (door curtains) like the one below.

Kimono Pattern

If you fancy making your own kimono, I've got the pattern! You will need about 12 metres of traditional kimono fabric to make a full length kimono - about 9 metres to make a haori (shorter jacket). The pattern also gives instructions for wider fabrics (see our wider width cottons for inspiration!). The cotton kimono (yukata) above was made using this pattern! The patterns are £10 including UK postage.
